What Smoke Run does
Smoke Run checks whether a website's money path works. It sends a synthetic customer down the path a real buyer takes, a visit, a form, a checkout, and reports where a step silently breaks. It is a diagnostic tool, not an advertiser or a data broker.
The free teardown and the ChatGPT app
When you run a free teardown, including through the ChatGPT app, we fetch the public pages of the website address you provide, the same way a browser would. No account is required, no form on the site is submitted, and no charge is ever made. The only thing sent to us is the website address you type. We keep standard operational logs (the address checked, timestamps, the result) to run and improve the service. We do not collect personal information about you to run a teardown.
Connected Watches (paid)
If you connect your own systems for an ongoing Watch, access is read-only by construction, a read-only database role, read-only API scopes. We store the verdict of each check and one-way hashed markers, never raw transaction bodies, never your customers' personal information, and never your raw provider secrets. Any credential you provide is held encrypted and referenced, not stored in plain text, and is used only to read the systems you connected.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not write to or change your systems. We do not complete real purchases or submit real forms on your behalf. We do not store your customers' personal data.
